About PPP Project

The Government of Arunachal Pradesh introduced the Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative in the year 2005 to strengthen healthcare delivery in remote and difficult areas of the state. Under this project, selected NGOs are entrusted with the management and operation of Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Community Health Centres (CHCs) to improve accessibility, efficiency, and quality of healthcare services.

  • Implement National Health Mission and other national programmes effectively.
  • Promote awareness through IEC activities and outreach programmes.

Important PPP Information

The MoU is signed between the Government of Arunachal Pradesh and selected NGOs for management and operation of PHCs/CHCs. The agreement includes implementation guidelines, staffing, monitoring, reporting, and healthcare service standards.

PHC/CHC Management Committees and State Steering Committees monitor project implementation. Reviews are conducted regularly to ensure quality healthcare services and proper fund utilization.

Indicators include OPD attendance, institutional deliveries, immunization coverage, emergency services, ambulance services, and implementation of national health programmes.
