HIV/AIDS Control Programme

The HIV/AIDS Control Programme in Arunachal Pradesh started in 1992 with the establishment of the AIDS Cell under the Directorate of Health Services, Naharlagun. The Arunachal Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (APSACS) was formed in 1998 to strengthen prevention, counseling, testing, treatment, awareness generation and rehabilitation activities across the state.
