Covid -19 Vaccination at PHC Bongleng.
Covid -19 vaccination at PHC Bongleng was inoculated to 14beneficiaries today,PHC Bongleng is situated near Indo Bhutan border village under Bongkhar circle. The session was inaugurated by Circle Officer Shri Phuntso Tashi in presence of Medical Officer Dr.Pema Dolma,public leaders and DRCHO Tawang Dr.Lobsang Tempa,Dr Tempa has been continously supervising the vaccination sessions in the District.
Vaccination session also held at KDS DH Tawang where 106 beneficiaries has been vaccinated successfully.
DCM inaugurated a Dialysis Unit at Namsai District Hospital.
Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Chowna Mein inaugurated a Dialysis Unit while MLA Namsai, Chau ZingnuNamchoom inaugurated a Tuberculosis Centre at NamsaiDistrict Hospitaltoday in presence of Lekang MLA, SmtJummumEteDeori. DCM in his inaugural speech said that before the Covid-19 pandemic, health care facilities were minimal in the State and the 9 months long pandemic has made us realized the importance of health care facilities. He informed that the State Govt has taken a mission to upgrade the infrastructure of all the District Hospital to improve the health care facilities with a massive investment of Rs 400 Crores across the State. He said that Namsai District Hospital will also be upgraded in the same line with investment of Rs 24 Crore which would be funded under RIDF, he added. He further said that Dialysis Unit in Namsai District Hospital was a long felt need of the people of the area as the people of Namsai and adjoining districts have to travel to Assam for such treatment which involve huge expenses. He said that the Dialysis Unit at District Hospital, Namsai established under Prime Minister National Dialysis Program will benefit the people of 8 districts of Eastern Arunachal namely, Dibang Valley, Lower Dibang Valley, Anjaw, Lohit, Namsai, Changlang, Tirap and Longding Districts. He also said that with the opening of Tuberculosis Centre in the District Hospital, Namsai has joint rest of the nation in the mission to eradicate the tuberculosis by 2025 as envisioned by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. Namsai MLA, Chau ZingnuNamchoom and Lekang MLA, JummumEteDeori also spoke on the occasion. Among others, DC Namsai, R K Sharma, State Epidemiologist, Dr L Jampa and DMO Namsai, Dr Nang Surya Namchoom were also present on the occasion.
Ering inaugurates covid-19 vaccination at BPGH
Pasighat January 16: Joining the rest of the nation in the largest vaccination drive,Pasighat West MLA,NinongEring todayinaugurated the first phase of covid-19 vaccination here at BakinPertin General Hospital(BPGH), Pasighat in East Siang. Altogether, 100 Health Care Workers comprising of Doctors, Nurses, Sanitary assistants, MTS, Drivers of health department, were administered the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine today. The launch of the Covid-19 Vaccination and the address to the nation by the Prime Minister NarendraModi was also witnessed during the occasion virtually. Ering on the occasionsaid that it was moment of great pride to be part of the historic launch by the Prime Minister, Shri NarendraModiin the fight against covid-19. He also lauded CM, Pema Khandu for the historic launch & efforts in the fight against covid-19 in the state. The vaccine is the result of hardwork of our Scientists & Doctors adding that we must continue to follow preventive SoPs, Ering said,during his interaction with media after the inauguration. DC East Siang, Dr.Kinny Singh in her message also asserted that the historic launch marks our determined efforts to fight against the virus. The Healthcare workers of our district as Covid Warriors have worked 24×7 in the fight against the Coronavirus. The DC appealed all to continue to follow preventive guidelines. Jt. DHS (T&C), BPGH, Dr. D.Raina, who was also administered the Covid vaccine, informed that the after the administration of the first dose today, the next dose will be taken after 28 days and urged all to continue to follow Covid preventive guidelines of wearing mask, social distancing, hand-washing& sanitization. COVID-19 vaccination carried out at CHC Jang .Total 67 beneficiary were vaccinated today.Zila Chairperson Shri Leki Gombu inaugurated the vaccine session. ADC Jang shri RD THUNGON ,EAC shri PEMA DORJEE, DRCHO Dr. L TEMPA other officers and public leaders were present on the occasion. Vaccination started with Dr Rinchin Neema SMO (SG) i/c CHC Jang, the first beneficiary among frontline worker.

All total 51 vaccinated out of targeted 58 including DRCHO Dr. NidakAngu, DSO(Surveillance) Dr. Palash Rakshit, Nurses, Attendants. While launching the Covid-19 vaccination program – Hon’ble Minister for PHE&WS &DoTCL Minister WangkiLowang appreciated the entire Health workers for their tireless fight against Covid-19 Pandemic from the day one. He also congratulated all the frontline workers for being chosen for getting the Covid vaccine first. He further advised all the HCWs to get vaccinated for their own and family safety. Dr. NidakAngu, DRCHO received the first doze of Covid-19 vaccine for Tirap District in presence of Chief Guest and dignitaries. The PHE&WS minister further said that the masks system if even there is no corona can prevent from other disease like pollution – so certain health tips need to be carry out through out our life. Hon’ble MLAs Wanglin Lowangdong – WanglamSawin while attending the launching program said that today is lucky and happy day for the entire humanity and being a part of entire humanity in Tirap District also finally Covid-19 vaccine has been developed and launched today and the fear from Corona has been vanished from today. Both theMLAs appealed all to get vaccinated. The total target beneficiaries of HCWs in Tirap District are 1036. The targeted beneficiary for today as on 18th January, 2021 was 58 out of which 51 were vaccinated. The vaccination was started at 10.00am and ended at14.30 pm. No any untoward incident or adverse report till evening today.
Dr. Thutan Tsering, the first of the district to be administered the Corona vaccine in presence of CM
Senior Medical Officer, Dr Thutan Tsering of Khadro Drowa Sangmo (KDS) Hospital here became the first of the district to be administered the Corona vaccine in presence of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, as part of the first leg of the country wide COVID 19 vaccine drive. Khandu congratulated Dr Tsering and said the first step towards victory over corona virus has begun. He also lauded the health workers of the district for containing the virus despite being one of the most visited place by tourists in the region. Later, Khandu visited the under-construction IPD ward of the district Hospital and took stock of the progress from the DC, DMO and the Medical superintendent. He also visited the temporary indoor patient block and interacted with patients besides distributing fruits and essentials.
